The House that My Great, Great, Great, Great Grandmother Built
Last weekend I visited the house that was built by my Great Great Great Great Grandmother. She built this house and ran the farm, after the death of her husband. It sounds like she was an industrious and strong woman of her time.
The farm, just outside of downtown Romeo Michigan, is now owned by a talented artist, named Bonnie. She also owns and operates The Lambs Tail Antiques out of the beautiful barn located on the property.
The Lambs Tail has great vintage furniture, re purposed antiques, dried wreaths and arrangements, painted furniture and decor items, felted wool pieces and handmade jewelry. It was voted "Michigan's no. 2 Antique Shop". A great honor considering Michigan's Antique Shop population!
If you are in the area, you must stop by. Her barn is filled to the rafters with fantastic treasures.
bonFlourish sells hand painted antique furniture and vintage home decor. Embellished ephemera, industrial and poetic jewelry, repurposed rusty chippy finds, forgotten hardware made new, new soft-ware made to appear old - all available at bonFlourish.
If you love the romance of the past combined with French country style, than you will enjoy browsing through our shoppe. bonFlourish is currently sold at the Mercantile in Milford, Ohio.
Wow is that serendipity. Her name is Bonnie, she is an artitis and she has a shop in your grandmother's house. Was your grandmother artistic as well?
